The lower standard 'cello' range and middle range are quite terrible for my uses (and probly many other people's uses) because it simply has too much attack at the beginning of the note! The upper range is quite good. By upper range I mean the very upper range (like D6, E6 and C7 etc - where C4 is middle C) where it somehow seems to have less attack. It may be good to fiddle with (to remove the attack) as the samples ARE good (despite the attack). If anyone knows of a soundfont like this, but with less attack (the attack really is too much to be any use to my purpose) please tell me! I would recommend this (but not totally) to people who are soundfont and sample enthousiasts.
