ReviewsUser: mpc4000xl OK sound good and inspirational but what's the deal with the blank notes odd and nearly annoying is this supposed to force a playing style or is it just madness WHY !!!!!!!!!! MPC4000xl User: spacedman Bagpipes aren't chromatic instruments so its more realistic if you cant play all the notes in the scale! Hit a low Bb as a drone and noodle around the notes of Eb major an octave or so above. I reckon you could load this into a soundfont editor and map the missing notes, but you'd pitch-shift the tones that give the bagpipes their character. User: Anyse Spacedman made it clear but you did not get it. The Bagpipe holes that make the noted only allow eight or so notes and then (I think) an octave above them as well. As there are 12 notes in the full scale, the bagpipe is not made to do all of them. So, it is limited. Playing in this limited workspace is the beauty of bagpipe playing itself. All those trills. Also, notes are not described as having your fingers DOWN on the holes, they are described by the ABSENCE of covering holes. A very different instrument that does not follow all of the rules of Western music. User: bobstalin bestest! User: Gabrielle This is fairly good, especially considering the size. You just have to use it correctly. | ||||
