ReviewsUser: Goremata Great intense string ensemble. This stereo string ensemble works off of good quality 44.1 khz samples (CD hz rate) instead of combining string ensembles of various quality. The strongest part of this soundfont is the normal string ensemble. It has a really fast attack (which is quite hard to find in string ensemble soundfonts) which makes it ideal for fast and intense music. Pros: -Unique, fast, and intense. -CD stereo quality Cons: -A part in the pizzicato strings seems to have a bad note range User: achile444 Great string, but when the song is too fast the string lost its sound User: luqui These are good strings, but they need some tweaking. Put the release time up at about .5 seconds and they make a pretty good long marcato. These are the best non staccato strings I've found so far. (See RolandMarcatoStrings for the staccato) User: Biazed These strings are great. I love em. Fast attack time. Add a little release and they sound even better. Thanks! User: Burnie Really good. One of the best free strings sf2 I heard... A must have User: Dugz You can choose from "Pizzicato Strings", "String Ensemble", or "Slow Ensemble". All are very rich and well constructed. There's a strange attack on the "Slow Ensemble"... but interesting. User: daveg Yikes! Out of tune, low quality sound (clipping?), and the pizzicato patch is actually staccato. I'd avoid this one. User: Rachmaninoff Aargh! Out of tune! | ||||
