What makes this Soundfont really interesting is that the samples are almost Radio-Quality. This makes the sound realistic and less sterile, I think. Give it a try!

First-class. Unfortunately, it does come second to Soeren Bovbjerg's Steinway, particularly in the upper range. Still, quite excellent.

Most piano SFs tends to sound quite bright and crisp (or icy, depending on your point of view), often somewhat hollow with lots of high rining. My personal taste favors pianos with more rounded tones and a substantial presence. In my opinion, two of the best in this category are harmo6 (Soeren Bovbjerg's) and this one, with this one having a slight edge. The one thing to remember with this SF is the you really have to make good use of the PEDAL CONTROL. Without applying the pedal, some of the notes (most conspicuously, A's and sounding pitches) can sound hard (not harsh) and wooden. But if you do the pedalling right, it can sound simply terrific! (I have mp3 files of Chopin's Fantasie-impomptu and Grieg's Wedding Day at Trolhaugen played with this SF that I would be happy to hear in a life recital.) For the brighter-sounding pianos, I would recommend pianisimum (bright yet 'soft', and under 7 MB) and ClavinoPiano1V2.0, which sounds truly wonderful but with a humongous size - over 125 MB!
